At Buddha Bee Apiary, we’re on a mission to help people fall in love with pollinators—starting with honeybees. Through our Host-a-Hive program, we install and maintain beehives in backyards across North Carolina. We believe that hands-on experiences with beekeeping can inspire change and create more advocates for pollinators. Our beekeepers are passionate about keeping bees healthy and educating others.

Position Description

Relationship Builders | Community Connectors | Growth-Minded Humans

At Buddha Bee Apiary, sales isn’t about pressure or cold calls — it’s about relationships, education, and helping people understand the value of thoughtful, responsible beekeeping.

We’re building a talent pool of folks who love connecting with schools, businesses, nonprofits, developers, and homeowners who care about pollinators, sustainability, and community impact.

What this role might look like in the future:

  • Building and nurturing relationships with prospective hive hosts and partners

  • Responding to inbound interest and guiding people through our Host-a-Hive programs

  • Helping identify and develop corporate, campus, and multi-site partnerships

  • Representing Buddha Bee Apiary at events, site visits, and community conversations

  • Collaborating closely with our beekeeping and education teams to ensure alignment and integrity

You might be a great fit if you:

  • Are a natural communicator who enjoys listening more than pitching

  • Care deeply about environmental impact, education, and community engagement

  • Are comfortable with consultative, values-driven sales (not transactional selling)

  • Enjoy autonomy, responsibility, and building systems as things grow

  • Have experience in sales, partnerships, nonprofits, education, real estate, or sustainability — or are eager to learn
