The Company:

At Buddha Bee Apiary, we’re on a mission to help people fall in love with pollinators—starting with honeybees. Through our Host-a-Hive program, we install and maintain beehives in backyards across North Carolina. We believe that hands-on experiences with beekeeping can inspire change and create more advocates for pollinators. Our beekeepers are passionate about keeping bees healthy and educating others.

Buddha Bee Apiary’s work lives at the intersection of ecology, education, and community — and we believe our storytelling should reflect that.

We’re building a marketing talent pool for creatives and strategists who love telling meaningful stories, building thoughtful brands, and helping small, mission-driven organizations grow with integrity.

What this role might include over time:

  • Crafting and maintaining brand voice across digital and print platforms

  • Creating content for newsletters, blogs, social media, and educational materials

  • Supporting campaigns around events, hive installations, honey harvests, and partnerships

  • Helping translate complex ecological topics into approachable, engaging content

  • Collaborating on design, photography, video, and storytelling projects

  • Assisting with website updates, SEO, and community outreach initiatives

  • Love blending creativity with strategy

  • Are excited by sustainability, education, and local impact

  • Have experience in marketing, communications, design, journalism, or content creation

  • Enjoy working with real stories, real people, and real outcomes (not generic ad copy)
